The breezy, dance-infused bop finds the Grammy-nominated rapper ready to take on a new relationship as she delivers playful lines over the hypnotic melody.
“I wanna fall in love for the weekend / Three boyfriends, I don’t know where I’m sleeping / We be thuggin’, clubbin’, fu**in’ / Order room service when we done, that’s the sequence,” raps Saweetie while H.E.R. supplies the seductive hook.
A video, directed by Hannah Lux Davis, is set to drop in the coming days. Saweetie has been sharing stills from the clip on social media.
“Closer” follows “Icy Chain” and arrives ahead of Saweetie’s long-awaited debut album, Pretty Bitch Music.
