Booming L.A. artist Sham1016 and multi-platinum producer Corey Cail unite for an enduring and unapologetic EP titled “Sorry Not Sorry”. The 4-track collection highlights the voracious sound that the artist is highly celebrated for, influenced by the famed notes of west coast and new age RnB & Hip -Hop. Features on the project include RnB vocalist Kiilynn and Crystal The DJ.
“It’s rare to be able to produce with a creative mind like Sham. Immediately after his viral moment with “Play Ball” I was all in. His approach and need to separate himself from the rising scene via creating opportunity for himself is crazy to witness and even better to be a part of.”
said Executive Producer Corey Cail.
Everything about “Sorry Not Sorry” caters to the duo’s unapologetic and established reputations. As such, there was much more for Sham to celebrate this weekend as he made some serious noise hosting his second annual “Set Gala”.
“The timing was perfect for Sorry Not Sorry and Set Gala because to me Set Gala is that first major event that lets me know summer is here. When I play SNS it sounds like summer, it sound like them LA summer days that I had growing up in South Central going to the Coliseum swimming pool. It remind me of how Summers can get, it can be about getting on the girls and getting fly but also can end tragically whether it be death or jail. We’ve experienced it all under this LA sun.” said the artist.
The event was hosted at the Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles on July 7th, 2023.
