The legendary stoner doom-metal outfit Sleep has officially announced their return, confirming that they have more in store for fans than just an upcoming tour and comic book. The band is set to release their highly anticipated new album, Hempispheres, on October 30 via Third Man Records.
This project serves as the long-awaited follow-up to 2018’s The Sciences. Notably, Hempispheres marks the first studio effort featuring the band’s updated lineup, which includes newcomers Bubba Dupree and Dale Crover, who join longtime frontman Al Cisneros. The album will feature the previously released single “Have Spacesuit Will Travel” alongside a brand-new track, “The Morrisist.”
In addition to the album announcement, the band is preparing to hit the road next month for an extensive headlining tour. Fans can get a preview of the new material by listening to the tracks below.
