Spotify Joins Forces with Tyler, The Creator for First Ever Digital Artist Sticker Collection

The world isn’t a stranger to the success of Spotify’s Wrapped campaign — a yearly, personalised listening analysis experience for users of the platform. The campaign gave the streaming giant a way to interact and engage fans directly. Last fall, they took things a notch higher with a new feature that allows users to create their own cover art for playlists.

Now, taking it even further, the DSP has announced its first ever Digital Artist Sticker collection which would allow listeners to get even more creative with their playlist covers by integrating digital assets straight from the artists they love. To kick things off, Spotify has partnered up with rapper-producer Tyler, The Creator, with whom they’ve developed 10 exclusive stickers to have fans be more creative than ever before, borrowing Tyler’s style.

If that sounds something you’d be into, but don’t know where to start — fret not, we got you. Here are stepwise instructions that may be of help when working your creative magic with the stickers!

  • Select a user-generated playlist that you created – or click to create a new one: Tap the context menu (…); then tap ‘Create Cover Art’ within the menu options.
  • From there, listeners can access exclusive Tyler, The Creator stickers, along with a variety of creative elements, including backgrounds and text.
  • Once complete, the playlist will be updated with your listener’s brand new cover art and can be shared with friends.

So, what playlist cover are you coming up with next?
