Major Keys!
Alicia Keys returns with her double album KEYS. The 26-track set, which she calls “one of the most exciting projects I ever did,” is divided into two sides: Originals and Unlocked.
The Originals consists of 14 “laidback piano vibes,” produced entirely by Alicia, and includes appearances from Pusha T (“Plentiful”) and Brandi Carlile (“Paper Flowers”).
The 15-time Grammy winner turns up on the Unlocked side featuring what Mike Will Made-It calls his “best production to date.” The 12 “level up vibes” include collaborations with Lil Wayne (“Nat King Cole”), Swae Lee (“LALA”), and Khalid and Lucky Daye (“Come for Me”).

“It’s kinda like a Sunday and a Saturday,” Alicia told Complex of the follow-up to 2020’s Alicia. “I feel like people really love the piano side of me…I can never express myself in one style, nobody can. That’s not even realistic. So I think the other side of it allows me to go a little more crazy, put a little more Lawry’s seasoning salt in the mix and create this gumbo that fulfills all the senses. And that’s what you can expect, to be fulfilled, well fed.”
