String Of Thoughts: aku’s Sharp Lyricism And The Meaning Behind It

The most promising urban artist aku shares yet another one of his imaginings – a highly metaphorical and thoughtful song “Skeleton Queen”. Like a masterful storyteller, aku paints a picture of the skeleton queen – an emotionless person brought back to life whose toxicity is just as destructive as Shiva’s (Hindu god of destruction). The couple seems bored “staring at the moon with nothing else to do” but the two of them have secrets that they’ll take to the grave. Intriguing and at the same time unnerving, the lyrics are exceptionally well thought out.

Although relatively new, aku has acclimated to the urban scene. Having always done freestyling, he began with a motto “one song a day” and in 2021 fully committed himself to creating impactful art. Soon enough thousands of people on TikTok were jamming to aku’s “rose gold in paris town” which now proudly counts over 300K streams on various platforms.

Aku has been an actor and was featured in Vogue three times as a rookie model which is a huge achievement since the artist describes himself as an introvert: “I pushed my fears to the side and made myself get comfortable in the spotlight.” aku serves as an exemplar of what true artists can be as he once characterized himself as a “Lotus flower. Temptations to find a rise in becoming better at every aspect. Trying to find ways to make something pure, beautiful and regenerating.”

Before starting music, aku has worked on his YouTube channel where he shared almost everything with his audience. He spoke about love and life, and about his own struggles which is what made him so personable. Using the tools of an artist, aku usually interacts with his audience on a deeper level and shows them his support by boldly speaking on things that matter.

With tons of singles that have captivated thousands, a childlike innocence in his tone, and an undying hope for the best, aku is truly a one of a kind artist.
