If you are unsure it is at Swizz Beatz, Drake opens the set of bars with “Unthinkable,” a nod toward a collaboration with Swizz’s wife Alicia Keys. Then bringing the words recited by Beatz on their collaborative single “Fancy” back to him.

Unthinkable when I think of the way these niggas been actin’
Yeah, I never did you nothin’ and you play like we family, huh?
Next thing, you wanna shoot me down, it can’t be love
Not sure where you was tryna send it, it can’t be up
That day you sounded like a bitch, you fancy, huh?

The beat even appears to bring in a small sample of their collaboration, “Fancy.”

If you missed what started this rift, during the deep quarantine days, Swizz Beatz appeared on an Instagram live session with Busta Rhymes where he called Drake a “pussy” and repeatedly referred to him as a kid.

“That kid is a good kid as well,” Swizz said. “He’s not a bad kid, he’s a good kid. He started from different things, we made hit record together, it’s all love. I just want to play music. Because my filter is burnt. Because at the end of the day, niggas is pussy for real. What’s up? Pop off. Let’s go.”

Swizz would issue a statement after, and well, Drake popped off.

This week, Swizz made an appearance on The Angie Martinez Show and revealed Drake’s other nemesis, Kanye West, wanted a VERZUZ battle with him. Swizz stated he left it up to the artists to get it done, with the offer still on the table. However, for the shots fired, Swizz is standing on the no beef side.

A lot of people want to see me react and do all these things, but I’m in such a great zone,” Swizz said. “I said how I felt, he said how he felt. Hey, man, I guess we even. As far as now, I’m good, and I actually like the song.”

Swizz also acknowledged that Drake could have given him 40 bars but just “got it off his chest.”
