Six years later, The Game issued an apology to Kim Kardashian over sexually explicit lyrics he made about their alleged romance in a 2019 unreleased track.

The Compton rapper initially seemed apprehensive about apologizing when the subject came up during Game’s interview with Club Shay Shay earlier this week, but he ultimately gave in.

“I held Kim Kardashian by the throat, n—a/ I made her swallow my kids until she choked, n—a/ I should apologize cause Ye my folks, n—a,” Game raps about Kim on the track.

Game recalled receiving a call from Ye (formerly Kanye West), who was still married to Kardashian at the time, and agreed to stop talking about West’s wife. “[Ye], he called me and was like, ‘I love you, but can we not ever talk about my wife again?’” he stated. “And I said, ‘You know what? Even though I’m bigger and stronger, you got that right.’ I gave it to him. I was like, ‘I wasn’t going to do that no more.’”

He also apologized to Yeezy, but never to Kim, until his appearance on Club Shay Shay on Wednesday (Dec. 10). “Kim, I’m apologetic for the way that I displayed or discussed our interrelations with the public,” Game begrudingly apologized.

The Game expressed some regret for his decision to publicly air out his alleged past with Kardashian, as he claimed to “wake up and choose a little violence.” However, he’s still got a ton of love for Kim, her mother Kris and sisters Khloe and Kourtney, as they were neighborhood friends living in Calabasas and running around Los Angeles in the 2000s.

“Sometimes, man, you wake up and choose a little violence,” the 46-year-old said. “If I tried to make up an excuse for my behavior, there just is no excuse. It’s the wrong thing to do on the right day.”

On the music side, Game released his Gangsta Grillz Every Movie Needs a Trailer project on Thursday (Dec. 11).
