The Weeknd Performs ‘Baptized In Fear / Open Hearts’ Live On Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show

The Weeknd put all his vocal prowess on display in the latest episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The singer-rapper took to stage to perform ‘Baptized in Fear/ Open Hearts’ live with a small 3-piece band behind him.

The performance started off slow with lighting that almost seemed sombre, but this changed the moment we enter the breakdown section of the song. From this point on, blue and red dancing lights take over to compliment rapid synth modulations that are reminiscent of Daft Punk.

Jimmy and The Weeknd also showed up at Fordham University’s graduation party where unsuspecting students would soon realise their DJ is Jimmy Fallon, followed by a Weeknd performance. The atmosphere was charged up, with students crowding and cheering the duo on as The Weeknd performed ‘Blinding Lights’ and other timeless hits. Check it out!
