VORY Drops New Visual For “Happy Birthday 2U”

Grammy award-winning artist VORY released the new music video for “Happy Birthday 2U”.

Directed by Loris Russier, the toxic visual shows the acclaimed crooner cheating on his girlfriend with her best friend on her birthday. The music video builds up to the infidelity, but over the course of the visual, Vory’s girlfriend takes suspicious glances toward her best friend during the birthday trip.

“Happy Birthday 2U” originally appeared on VORY’s project Lost Souls, which he released earlier this summer via Dream Chasers Records/Universal Music Group. The project includes collaborations with Kanye West, Nav, BLEU, Landstrip Chip, Beam, and a special appearance from media personality Wallo267.

The video release also comes after VORY collaborated with DJ Khaled on “Grateful” from Khaled’s newly released album, GOD DID, where he soulfully croons about his appreciation for his successes and ability to overcome adversity.

One of his most recent triumphs includes the success of Lost Souls, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart, included standout songs such as “Daylight (feat Kanye West)” and “Do Not Disturb (feat BLEU and NAV)” and resulted in him becoming Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Rookie of the Month in June 2022.

Over the course of the year, VORY has established himself as one of 2022’s rising stars and surrounded himself with an All-Star team. He is signed to Meek Mill’s Dream Chasers record label in conjunction with Roc Nation, managed by The Weeknd’s management team at SALXCO, and receives constant mentorship from Kanye.

VORY also teamed up with Kanye for “Jonah”, “God Breathed” and “No Child Left Behind” off YE’s Grammy-nominated album, Donda, in 2021. Earlier this year, the duo collaborated yet again for the soulful “Lord Lift Me Up” release off Donda 2.
