A24 and Apple Original Films have released a new teaser video for Spike Lee’s new movie Highest 2 Lowest. The clip offers a look at Denzel Washington, A$AP Rocky, and Jeffrey Wright’s roles in the film. Watch it below.
Highest 2 Lowest is a reinterpretation of Akira Kurosawa’s High to Low, now set in modern-day New York. The new movie also stars Ice Spice, Ilfenesh Hadera, Dean Winters, and John Douglas Thompson. Highest 2 Lowest will premiere later this month at the Cannes Film Festival. It will hit theaters on Friday, August 22, and stream on Apple TV+ starting on Friday, September 5.
Highest 2 Lowest will mark Spike Lee’s first feature film since 2020’s Da 5 Bloods. It’s also Lee’s first film to star Denzel Washington since 2006’s Inside Man.
