Rapper Wiz Khalifa seems to be in a ready creative state. Fresh off the success of his 2024 project Wiz Owens, the artist has now announced the release date for his next album, Kush & Orange Juice 2.

The album will be an extension of the flavor fans heard first on the rapper’s 2010 project, Kush & Orange Juice and take us back to Wiz Khalifa’s sonic roots (or, well, trees!)

The rapper was already done with the project almost a year ago, in the March of 2024, when he sent it out to be engineered. Seeing as Kush & Orange Juice was his breakout mixtape, it seems as though the rapper is ready to make a statement in the game.

Even after being categorised as a ‘weed rapper’ only by new listeners, the rapper has come into the brand well, and might just have something in store to turn heads (like he did recently with a Kendrick flip).

The album art is an illustration of Wiz with a game controller in hand, with the TV boasting the title as posters litter the walls of his room. Among them, there is also a movie poster for Mac + Devin Go to High School— a stoner comedy flick that Wiz and Snoop were a part of. Other posters include his collaboration with A$AP Rocky, a XXL Freshman Cover he graced, his work with Mac Miller and more. All in all, the room seems to symbolise the space he now occupies in the industry and the achievements he has to celebrate looking back.
