Cardi B Co-signs Ciara & Baby Future’s 'Invasion Of Privacy'-Inspired Halloween Costumes

With Halloween in full-swing, artists aren’t pulling any punches when going all-out for the perfect costume. Ciara gave her best Cardi B imitation on Friday (October 30) when recreating the cover art to the Bronx bombshell’s 2018 GRAMMY-winning Invasion of Privacy album.

Ciara dons the yellow wig, checkered flag dress and flails her tongue to the side just as Cardi did on her debut album cover. In another slide, Cici poses with her son Baby Future, who is dressed as a mini-Offset. The mother-son combo even duets to the Migos-assisted “Drip” off Cardi’s IOP.

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper quickly got wind of Ciara’s Cardi-inspired costume and showed the singer and Baby Future major love.

“I’m gagging,” Cardi began. “I love it! I’m so hype! I’ve always been a huge fan of @ciara and became an even bigger fan after I met her! She is the most sweetest and the most nicest person in the world! A true peach! Staying sweet and humble was the prayer!”

This isn’t the only time we’ve seen artists paying homage to their music contemporaries this year. Saweetie recreated Destiny’s Child’s hot pink “Bootylicious” video on Thursday night (October 29) by dressing up as all three members of the iconic girl gang circa 2001.
