The track is taken from Lyrical Lemonade’s ‘All Is Yellow’ compilation.
Back in January, Cole Bennett’s Lyrical Lemonade outfit unveiled an album titled All Is Yellow, complete with contributions from Lil Durk, Kid Cudi, Chief Keef, Lil Yachty, Eminem, Cordae, and more. Today (Feb. 15), fans were able to check out a new visual from the compilation for “This My Life,” a collaboration with Lil Tecca, The Kid LAROI, and Lil Skies.

Over production from Bennett, Jacob Wice, Daniyel, Car!ton, Kosher World, and Marvy Ayy, the three talents harmonized about their success and the roadblocks that came with it. “I’m takin’ my life one day at a time, if I’m bein’ honest, I’m losin’ my mind/ Doin’ these drugs that help pass the time, it is what it is, I swear I’ll be fine,” Skies rapped on the song’s final verse.
Directed by Bennett, the visual for “This My Life” kept with the same theme as other videos from All Is Yellow, as the artists wore black suits with yellow ties throughout. They could also be spotted performing in front of Lyrical Lemonade’s symbolic yellow curtain in the middle of a warehouse.
“The curtain stemmed from my short film whyrush?, which was a note to self and everyone here,” Bennett explained about the brightly colored item in an interview with Hypebeast. “I knew I wanted to include a backdrop. I knew I wanted it to have elements of a music video with beautiful framing and consistent coloring. [Art director Cody Fusina] was the one who brought me this latex green curtain. I fell in love with it immediately. When the album came around, I was trying to think of a way we could have a moving set, so we could create a cohesive theme across all videos regardless of where we were shooting it. So I called Cody and asked, ‘Do you think we could get that same curtain in yellow?’”

‘Blue Lips’ arrives March 1.
As REVOLT previously reported, ScHoolboy Q has been actively prepping fans for the release of his upcoming album, Blue Lips. Today (Feb. 15), he added to the building momentum with “Yeern 101,” which follows the previous drops “Back n Love” and “Blueslides.” The Cardo and J.LBS-produced offering showed the South Central talent going haywire with lines about his background in Los Angeles, his current status in the rap game, and much more.

The accompanying visual for “Yeern 101” was directed by Q and James Edward. Along with a couple of associates, the Top Dawg Entertainment emcee drove a Volkswagen Beetle through different sets in a film production studio. He could also be spotted playing golf and taking a walk in the rain.
Blue Lips will follow Q’s fifth studio LP, CrasH Talk, which made landfall back in 2019. The track can be found on ‘Larger Than Life.’
Today (Feb. 14), Brent Faiyaz decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day by dropping a new visual for “WYA.” Produced by Anthoine Walters, Dpat, Otxhello, Jonathan Wells, and Berg, the wavy number continues the trend of honest-yet-toxic love stories that the Maryland crooner is well-known for. “Even I know you ain’t no good for me, but you feel so good to me/ Every time I come back, I try to leave, so how you end up back with me?” he sang on the track’s first verse.
Trending Stories
Directed by Mark Peaced, the accompanying clip is centered around an action movie that Faiyaz is filming alongside Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o. Throughout, their chemistry is clear, both in front of the cameras and while working through the film’s production behind the scenes.
“WYA” served as the lead single for Faiyaz’s October 2023 release, Larger Than Life. The mixtape consisted of 14 dope cuts with contributions from the likes of Missy Elliott, Coco Jones, ASAP Rocky, and Babyface Ray.
“I’m a procrastinator, I’m a frivolous spender, and I definitely spend a lot of time with a lot of different women. That record reflects having access and opportunity, and having to say no to certain s**t — or the inability to say no to certain s**t,” Faiyaz explained about “WYA” in an interview with Rolling Stone. “That record is about addiction in a way, shape, or form, but more from the perspective of submitting to it versus fighting against it.”
He continued, “It touches on addiction in a way that makes it a little more seductive. That’s on some, ‘Where you at?’ That late-night text you send, you probably been drinking a little bit, been outside, know you shouldn’t do that s**t — but f**k it. The access is always gonna be there, so I’m gonna pull up.”

On Friday (Feb. 9), Jermaine Dupri decided to get bodies moving with his latest single, “This Lil’ Game We Play,” which features Nelly, Ashanti, and Juicy J. On the dance floor-ready offering, the So So Def head honcho took a backseat as his collaborators spit game to their respective lovers. “Baby, I’m glad you came, can’t even lie/ I love lookin’ at you, girl, and them thighs/ And that thang-thang is somethin’ special, yeah/ Ari Lennox type pressure/ Got me Usher Raymond, confessin’ right,” Nelly rapped on the track.

Two days after “This Lil’ Game We Play” hit streaming platforms, Dupri joined Usher on the field at Allegiant Stadium for the Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show. Alicia Keys, H.E.R., Ludacris, will.i.am, and more were also present for the big celebration.
As REVOLT previously reported, Dupri’s Freaknik: The Wildest Party Never Told documentary will finally premiere on Hulu this March. The film, which the “Money Ain’t A Thang” talent co-produced alongside Uncle Luke and 21 Savage, will put the spotlight on “an iconic Atlanta street party that drew 100s of 1,000s of people in the ’80s and ’90s.”
“My vision of Freaknik is really a story about the South in Atlanta. It’s not really a story about what everybody keeps talking about,” he said while on “Tamron Hall Show.” “I think I don’t like that part because I feel like it’s a little disrespectful ’cause I’m just telling a story. I’m telling a story of Atlanta, right, and how Atlanta was built into the place that it is today. People came to Atlanta through Freaknik, and they stayed, and that’s how Atlanta became this multicultural place. Freaknik played one of the biggest roles in that period… I can’t say that you won’t see freaking in this video. It is called Freaknik,” he added.
