British indie-rock band Wu Lyf have officially announced the postponement of their highly anticipated North American tour. In a statement shared via their official social media channels, the group cited “delays in visa processing” as the primary reason for the schedule change. The band expressed their regret over the situation and confirmed they are working to announce new dates as soon as possible.
For fans who have already secured their spots, the band provided reassurance: all previously purchased tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled performances. Alternatively, those unable to attend the new dates are eligible to receive a full refund from their original point of purchase.
This development follows the recent release of A Wave That Will Never Break, the band’s first studio album in 15 years, produced by Sonic Boom. The tour was set to be a significant milestone, marking their return to North American stages after a lengthy hiatus.
Wu Lyf’s situation highlights a growing trend of international artists facing logistical hurdles when attempting to tour the United States. They join a list of other acts recently impacted by visa-related complications. Notably, FKA twigs was also forced to reschedule a leg of her Eusexua Tour and cancel her planned appearances at Coachella 2025 due to similar administrative challenges.
The band’s statement included a list of the affected dates, which spanned several major cities including Brooklyn, Washington, D.C., Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. While the North American leg is currently on hold, their performance at the Paredes de Coura Festival in Portugal remains on the schedule for August 13.
