Originally from Suffern, NY, and now based in Woodbury, NY, AKTHEPROD’s journey into music began during his college years at SUNY Potsdam in 2018, where he initially focused on crafting instrumentals. Growing up in a family steeped in musical tradition his grandparents were members of the New York City Opera Company he was influenced by a wide range of sounds, which shaped his distinctive style. His music, centered on themes of identity, emotional resilience, and self-discovery, draws from his personal experiences, including the challenges faced during the Covid-19 pandemic, which inspired much of ISOLATE.
