August Alsina Drops ‘Entanglements’ Video with Rick Ross

August Alsina gets caught up in the video for “Entanglements” featuring Rick Ross.

The R&B crooner reflects on his past relationships while getting intimate with his female co-stars in the explosive clip. A fiery blaze burns as dancers twerk alongside him and show off their flexibility on the pole. Following a cameo from Rozay, it ends with August sharing a passionate kiss with his leading lady.

“Entanglements” was inspired by August’s relationship with Jada Pinkett Smith, who described their relationship as such. “I don’t know why that word is such an issue,” August told Vulture. “I would agree [with Jada]. If you look up the definition of ‘entanglement,’ it is a complex and difficult relationship. It was exactly that. I think it’s just the language that probably stuck out to people. But I definitely have to agree with it being an entanglement. It definitely was something complicated, a complicated dynamic.”

In June, Alsina released his 27-track album The Product III: stateofEMERGEncy featuring Lil Wayne, Yo Gotti, and Juicy J.

Meanwhile, Rozay also dropped a video for his powerful single “Pinned to the Cross” featuring Finn Matthews. He is now readying his 11th studio album Richer Than I’ve Ever Been for release later this year.
