The rising rap star Baby Tate has released her latest single, “My Biznazz”, as part of the Hip-Hop 50 series on Apple Music. The song is a tribute to the legendary Ludacris, who inspired Baby Tate with his witty wordplay and charismatic delivery.
In “My Biznazz”, Baby Tate showcases her lyrical skills and confident attitude over a bouncy beat that samples Ludacris’ 2001 hit, “Rollout (My Business)”. She raps about her success, her independence, and her disregard for haters who try to interfere with her business. She also pays homage to Ludacris by mimicking some of his signature flows and ad-libs.
The song is the latest in a series of singles that Baby Tate has released this year, following “Eenie Meenie”, “Rainbow Cadillac”, and “I Am”. She is also working on her debut album, which is expected to drop later this year. The album will feature collaborations with Flo Milli, BIA, and 6LACK, among others.
Baby Tate is one of the rising stars of the Hip-Hop 50 series, which celebrates the past, present, and future of hip-hop culture. The series features exclusive interviews, playlists, documentaries, and original songs from some of the most influential artists in the genre. You can listen to “My Biznazz” and other Hip-Hop 50 songs on Apple Music.
