Maintaining unprecedented momentum with millions of streams and unanimous critical acclaim, Newark rapper Bandmanrill uncovers the music video for his latest single “PIANO” featuring Lay Bankz today. Watch “PIANO” HERE. It remains a standout from his highly anticipated debut mixtape, Club Godfather, out now. Listen HERE via Warner Records.
In the visual, Bandman overlooks the city from a high rooftop. As he scans his surroundings, he spits breathlessly, locking into a galloping rhythm over dazzling piano. From the jump, he confesses, “Fuck all the heroes, I want me a villain,” as his flow takes no prisoners. Meanwhile, Lay Bankz holds down a hypnotic hook with woozy soul as she croons, “I need you.” The video intercuts moments of Bandman and Lay Bankz surrounded by friends with scenes set against a tripped-out backdrop on another planet as spaceships buzz overhead. “PIANO” pops off as an event-level clip worthy of the track.
The 13-song project, which includes guest appearances by NLE Choppa, skaiwater, Sha Ek, Lay Bankz, and production by mcvertt showcases the stylistic dexterity and relentless energy that have quickly made Bandmanrill one of the most unmissable new acts in music this year.
