Bhad Bhabie Enters Rehab for Trauma and Substance Abuse

Bhad Bhabie has entered rehab to attend to some personal issues.

According to TMZ, the 17-year-old rapper, whose real name is Danielle Bregoli, checked herself into a facility at an undisclosed location a few weeks ago. She is reportedly being treated for childhood trauma along with substance abuse in the form of prescription pills.

She was apparently aware of the severity of the issue, which is why she decided to seek assistance. She is doing well and is optimistic about her progress, and plans to remain in rehab for 30-90 days.

Bhad Bhabie has remained off Instagram since mid-May, which caught the attention of rapper Chika, who called her out for her silence on George Floyd. “bad bhabie lil chickenhead ass been silent, too. we really ain’t caught her outside not once. hmm,” tweeted Chika.

On Tuesday, Bhad Bhabie posted a black square in solidarity with the #BlackoutTuesday and Black Lives Matter movement. Her management has also released a statement on her Instagram page addressing her decision to seek treatment.

“Danielle has been working hard for the past few years and made a positive decision to take some much-needed time off to attend to some personal issues,” reads the statement. “For past weeks, she has been in a treatment center receiving and continuing to receive professional support. She loves her fans, and has promised to return better, and healthier than ever. Please respect her and her families privacy at this time.”
