Fat Joe, Remy Ma & More To Guest On Maino’s New FOX Soul Show ‘Kitchen Talk’

FOX SOUL has announced that Maino’s Kitchen Talk video podcast series will be brought onto its platform. The series, hosted by the New York lyricist, is described in the press release as “a show that provides a vibe with in-depth conversations about life.” The video series will premiere on April 4.

The show, through motivational conversations and anecdotes, seeks to adamantly “motivate the future generation to work hard and never quit, no matter what is thrown their way,” with Angie Martinez, Fat Joe, Remy Ma and DJ Envy already slated to appear on the program.

“FOX SOUL partnering with Kitchen Talk gives us the ability to reach a broader audience,” says Kitchen Talk’s executive producer Greg J. Gavin. “When the show first started, the vision was to be able to create an impact on the culture and reflect growth. FOX SOUL is the platform that will assist in us becoming a staple in the media business. The most important thing about this partnership is we now have a partner to help spread the VIBE.”

FOX SOUL’s GM and Head of Programming James DuBose added, “We’re not asking for a seat at the table. We’re just going to become the table. Kitchen Talk!”

It’s clear Maino loves starting dialogues, as the video podcast arrives after the “All The Above” rapper sat down with New York City Mayor Eric Adams in February to start a dialogue about drill music and how it’s being blamed for the rise in gun violence in NYC.

“It’s been a lot of talk about drill rap, drill music in New York City, connecting violence with the culture, and I just wanted to create a conversation with the mayor,” Maino said in a clip from the meeting posted to Instagram.

“We brought [Fivio Foreign] here, we got young B-Lovee here, Slow and Bucks here, we got Bleezy here to talk about what’s really happening so the mayor could get a real perspective and real understanding of what drill rap is and so we could have some real dialogue and really make things happen.”
