Doechii is clearly a fan of You. The rap star approved of Penn Badgley’s “Anxiety”-inspired dance when he hit The Jennifer Hudson Show this week, offering up an affirmative Instagram comment on his “spirit tunnel” appearance.

On Wednesday (April 25), Badgley hit Doechii‘s signature “Anxiety” dance on his way down the backstage J-Hud spirit tunnel. The actor was stopping by the show to talk about the fifth and final season of You, which hit Netflix on April 24, 2025.

The Swamp Princess’ “Anxiety” dance still has the world in a chokehold. Earlier in April, LISA and her White Lotus castmates all attempted the challenge as well, hopping on TikTok to take part in the Internet craze. “Anxiety” is Doechii’s first top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 10 last month.

Billboard‘s 2025 Woman of the Year is not only a fan of Badgley’s dance moves, but also a fan of Westside Gunn too. On “Egypt,” the fifth and final track from Gunn’s latest EP The Heels Have Eyes, he sampled a snippet of Doechii’s Apple Music interview with Ebro Darden. “One-hundred percent/ You know, recently I’ve been into a lot of MF DOOM (OK)/ Rest in peace (Yup)/ I’ve been into a lot of MF DOOM, um/ Westside Gunn (Mhm), love him, he’s so talented (Super)/ So incredible,” she said to Darden in September.

Doechii is also heard on the outro rappin’, “I just feel like, I just feel like the underdog (Mmm)/ Feel like the underdog and I just feel like, ‘Stop playin’ with me.’”

“Westside Gunn just sampled me so pretty much kiss the blackest part of my a– and choke on a side ways d*ck! He snapped omg,” Doechii wrote of the feature on X earlier this week. Doechii then shared an Instagram Story of her listening to the sample on “Egypt” and screaming and having a good time as the track kicks off.
