Justin Bieber is showing his solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.

On Saturday, Bieber took to Instagram to pen a powerful message about racial injustice, while acknowledging what black culture has afforded him in his career.

“I am inspired by black culture. I have benefited off of black culture,” the “Intentions” singer told his 138 million followers. “My style, how I sing, dance, perform, and my fashion have all been influenced and inspired by black culture.”

As protests continue across the nation over police brutality against black citizens, he also vowed to commit himself to the fight against racial injustice. “I am committed to using my platform from this day forward to learn, to speak up about racial injustice and systemic oppression, and to identify ways to be a part of much needed change,” he added.

His post was met with support and praise from his fans and peers including SZA, Normani, and Sevyn Streeter.

Bieber has been using his platform to speak out on social justice, dedicating several Instagram posts to George Floyd and Breonna Taylor, while suggesting ways to help including voting. “I’m Canadian so I can’t vote you can vote for me,” he wrote in one post.

He also shared several other inspirational quotes and memes on his Instagram timeline. “Dear non black friends…. I’m paying attention to your silence,” read one message, while another said: “All lives do no matter until black lives matter.”
