Justin Bieber is back on top.
Over four since since his last album, the singer tops the Billboard 200 with his fifth studio album Changes. The set, which features the hit singles “Yummy” and “Intentions,” opens with 231,000 equivalent album units, of which 126,000 are in album sales.
Changes becomes Bieber’s first No. 1 on the Billboard Top R&B Albums chart and seventh overall No. 1 following 2010’s My World 2.0, 2011’s Never Say Never: The Remixes EP and Under the Mistletoe, 2012’s Believe, 2013’s Believe: Acoustic, and Purpose, which topped the chart in December 2015 with 649,000 units.
A “super grateful” Bieber, who turns 26 next month, surpasses Elvis Presley to become the youngest solo artist to achieve seven No. 1 albums.
Super grateful for this past week with #changes. This week is the big finale of #JustinBieberSeasons and another music video from changes on @AppleMusic and I think I might give you a visual album 🤔
