Lil Durk has been making big moves in his community, demonstrating his commitment to making a positive impact. He recently collaborated with Amazon Music to create the Durk Banks Endowment Fund and donated $350,000 to Howard University in the form of scholarships and grants, with two Chicago students each receiving $50,000 and $250,000 contributing to the university’s GRACE Grant. The announcement of the students will take place during Durk’s performance at Howard’s Springfest.

Durkio’s Neighborhood Heroes Foundation launched the Career Readiness program in 2022, providing opportunities for young people in need. Students were given the chance to tour HBCUs in different states and cities, meet with executives at various companies, and shadow industry veterans to gain experience.

Durk also partnered with Chicago Votes to donate 29,000 bottles of hand sanitizer to the Illinois Department of Corrections amid COVID-19 resurgence rates and a water crisis in one of the state’s largest prisons.

Lil Durk’s dedication to creating a brighter future for those in need is admirable, and his impact is felt throughout his community. Keep up with the latest news on Lil Durk by checking back in with HNHH.
