Lil Wayne is exploding with love.
The Funeral rapper and his fiancée La’Tecia Thomas are making it official with matching TNT tattoos. Weezy has a TNT detonator inked on his cheek, while the Australian model has a stick of dynamite tattooed on her right ring finger.
Thomas can also be seen wearing a Carter necklace, a reference to Wayne’s last name, in the photo, posted by Lil Wayne HQ.
On “Stop Playin With Me” off his new album Funeral, Weezy opens up about his fiancée. “I got a plus-sized model, but she my lil’ mama / I make her bust it open for me like a piñata / And as the world turned, she was my spin doctor,” he raps.
He also makes reference to his wife-to-be on “Not Me”: “You know wifey from Australia / She said ‘Cheers mate’ / Then we toast and see how you ni**as tears taste.”
The couple made their red-carpet debut at Wayne’s Funeral album release in Miami on Saturday. They were inseparable, posing for pictures and walking arm in arm. Weezy reportedly proposed to her last fall with a massive engagement ring.
The two may have met on social media after Wayne slid into her DMs while overseas last year. “I saw someone on TV and I was like, ‘I don’t know how to get in touch with this person,’” he said in a recent interview. “I met a very, very special person.”
