Lizzo Sends Cardi B Flowers Amid Offset Divorce

Lizzo is showing her support for Cardi B.

A day after she filed for divorce from Offset, Cardi received flowers from the “Truth Hurts” rapper. Taking to her Instagram Story, Cardi showed off the colorful floral arrangement, which came with a heartfelt note from Lizzo.

“Flowers for a flower! Congrats on all of your successes this summer—know you are loved and are love,” read the handwritten note. “P.S. I’m sending you something good this week. Love, Lizzo!”

A grateful Cardi shared her reaction to the sweet surprise. “Isn’t Lizzo like the nicest person in the world? Look what she sent me!” she said. “She is just a beautiful ass person. I just love her so much. These are so pretty.”

The Atlantic Records labelmates continue to show each other love. Cardi previously revealed that she wanted Lizzo to make a cameo in her “WAP” video, but she had a scheduling conflict. “She was on vacation and she wasn’t in town,” she told Hot 97. “I was like, ‘Oh my gosh,’ because I had a whole vision about how I want to see Lizzo and everything.”

This is not the first time Lizzo has supported her fellow women. She sent Megan Thee Stallion a special care package filled with candy after she was injured in a shooting involving Tory Lanez.

On Tuesday, Cardi filed for divorce from her husband of three years in Fulton County, Georgia. According to the amended divorce documents, obtained by TMZ, she wants Offset to have joint custody of their 2-year-old daughter Kulture and she will not seek support from him.

Meanwhile, neither Cardi nor Offset have directly addressed their separation. However, the Migos rapper returned to Instagram on Wednesday to share a series of photos of himself. “Grind don’t stop,” he captioned the pics.
