Nicki Minaj Teases Not One But Two ‘Super Freaky Girl’ Remixes

Nicki Minaj looks like she’s still riding the tidal wave behind her first solo No. 1 smash hit “Super Freaky Girl.”

The Queen’s rapper revealed on Tuesday (September 6) that she’s only just getting started as the Rick James-sampling anthem has at least one and a possible second remix (or “Queen Mix”) on the way.

“This remix tho,” she wrote on Twitter. “#QueenMix coming to collect her things. Soon come.”

Nicki has been tight-lipped when it comes to the release date or who will be featured on the remix, but she hinted at multiple guests with a “part 2” possibly coming soon as well.

Also guys, this is part 1. There may be a part [2] #QueenMix,” she added.

Per Billboard‘s archives, Nicki became the first female solo rap artist to debut at the Hot 100’s summit since Lauryn Hill in 1998 with “Doo Wop (That Thing).”

“You did it barbz,” Nicki penned to Instagram in a note to her fans in August. “You did it. I love you so much. like so so SO much. Thank you.”

The 39-year-old previously topped the Hot 100 as a guest alongside 6ix9ine on “Trollz” and she provided a boost to Doja Cat’s smash hit “Say So.”

It’s been a busy few weeks for Nicki Minaj, who was honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, recognizing her “outstanding contributions” and “profound impact” on music videos and popular culture.

JAY-Z and Beyoncé applauded the Young Money legend for adding yet another prestigious award to her trophy cabinet as the power couple sent Nicki flowers.

The Queens native expressed her gratitude to the power couple in her caption, writing: “Thank you so much. The both of you. For everything [folded hands emoji].”

Nicki released the “Super Freaky Girl” visual on September 1, which finds her starring alongside Canadian actor Alexander Ludwig. The clip boasts over seven million views.

Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj’s acrylic nail that she is said to have worn while performing at the MTV VMA’s has reportedly sold on eBay for $55,000.
