Seventy years after its inaugural edition, the Newport Jazz Festival is back for a weekend in Rhode Island this summer. Performing at the festival, which takes place from August 2 to 4 at Fort Adams State Park, are André 3000, Kamasi Washington, Laufey, Elvis Costello, Brittany Howard, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Meshell Ndegeocello, Makaya McCraven, Kassa Overall, Samara Joy, Robert Glasper, Shabaka, PJ Morton, Noname, Amaro Freitas, and many others.
