REACEYUNG Shares Groovy New Visual For “Riverfront Times”

St. Louis recording artist REACEYUNG has already stacked up chart-topping accolades and cosigns that have deemed him the next big thing to come out of the region since Huey and Metro Boomin. Now, he validates the undeniable star power with his latest single “Riverfront Times,” which is accompanied with a music video. In the Remrod-directed visual, REACEYUNG raps about memorable life experiences as he revisits the city’s landmarks over the vintage vibes productions.

Based on a true story, “Riverfront Times” is a soulful track that delivers signature lingo, slick-talking lyrics and revealing subject matter to best describe the artist’s backstory. “Making Riverfront Times was effectively effortless because it was pure memories,” he says in the video’s press release.

“Riverfront Times” appears on the artist’s latest album, Heart of Lou, which was released in October 2021. The 17-track collective marks the artist’s fourth album and spawned fellow standout songs such as “Good Times” and “Yung Thanos.” The project is special to REACEYUNG as it was the work that delivered him Billboard acclaim several times. He explains:

“Making my album, ‘Heart Of Lou,’ was a true experience because it was actually my first body at work my first ever mixtape that I chose to rebirth since I’ve had the Billboard charts twice. I wanted to represent myself with my first work.”

REACEYUNG made his debut in 2011 with the first volume of his attention-grabbing The Cassette Tape series. But his work on the Heart of Lou saw him collaborate with an a-list staff of producers and engineers who crafted the artist’s signature sound. The album is his best work to date.

He continued: “I had an amazing time creating it with all the dope producers that have their hands in on it the mix engineers the mastering engineers and the recording engineers it was beautiful energy being released from within as I was creating this work of art.”

In 2022, as his latest album, available now on all DSPS, continues to capture mainstream attention, REACEYUNG is currently in album mode, creating the highly-anticipated follow-up — currently untitled. And with cosigns from major stars like longtime Kendrick Lamar engineer, MixedbyAli, and fellow St. Louis veteran and platinum-selling artist Murphy Lee, REACEYUNG’s next effort is definitely going be the artist’s breakthrough into the mainstream landscape, taking him out of the Lou and into the hip hop stratosphere.

“Riverfront Times” is the perfect origin point for newfound fans to hop on the artist’s bandwagon. REACEYUNG’s new album is scheduled for late 2022 via own imprint.

You may watch “Riverfront Times” now, and afterward, the rising star on social media for new music and more.
