Says Scorey on the official release of the track and receiving clearance: “The inspiration to cover “If I Die Young” came from a combination of hearing the song ten years ago on a video game and making a connection to real life scenarios today. It’s a special song about the loss experienced throughout generations.”

“Die Young” caps off a strong end of the year filled with a string of consistent releases from Scorey. It follows his latest feature with Internet Money on Dro Kenji’s “FINDERS KEEPERS,” “Love Letter” featured in NBA 2K and the Polo G collaboration “Broken Guitars” from the #1 album Hall of Fame which has over 30M worldwide streams. He landed an opening slot on Polo G’s “Hall of Fame Tour” ending Sunday, and has nearly 2M monthly listeners on Spotify, and 48M overall streams. 2021 is just a glimpse of what’s to come for Scorey, he is a star on the rise.
