The Real is back.
Six months year after releasing Revenge of the Dreamers III, Dreamville re-ups with the long-awaited deluxe edition. The 12-track Director’s Cut includes new music from Dreamville’s own Ari Lennox, EarthGang, Bas, JID, Cozz, and Lute, plus appearances from 6LACK, Vince Staples, Dreezy, Smino, Guapdad 4000, Childish Major, and Reason.
Earlier this week, Dreamville dropped their 1/16 pack featuring two of the album cuts, Ari Lennox’s “BUSSIT” and EarthGang’s “Still Up” featuring Reason.
The project arrives on the heels of last summer’s Grammy-nominated Revenge of the Dreamers III, which featured contributions from Kendrick Lamar, DaBaby, Ty Dolla $ign, and J. Cole. In November, Dreamville Records president Ibrahim Hamad announced that a deluxe edition was on the way.
While Cole is not featured on the album, he is readying his own album The Fall Off release this year and will host his second annual Dreamville Festival in North Carolina on April 4.
