Continuing to push the boundaries of contemporary rap, TiaCorine has just shared her latest track and video, “FYK” on which she pulls heavily from her Punk Rock influences. On the new track, the Winston-Salem, NC-native thrashes a punchy, up-tempo instrumental with her menacing lyrics and unceasing flow. “FYK” exemplifies Tia’s candid approach to sonic experimentation, showcasing her admiration for the angsty elements of Punk and Riot Grrrl as well as the rebellious spirit of Hip Hop. “FYK” follows the release of “Gas Station” in April.
Now, Tia’s focus is on putting together a full-length project and expanding her sound, experimenting with her wide-ranging artistic palette, and showing the world the true depths of her imagination.
