Young Prototype Delivers A “MOVIE” With His Latest Single

“MOVIE!” The latest release from rising New York talent Young Prototype of 86 Records. Unlike other rappers, YP is a multi-talented artist who produces and engineers his own songs. In “MOVIE,” YP aims at anyone who puts him down or throws shots at him – old friends or new enemies- as he grows in notoriety.
The video directed by N.productions captures the track’s intensity, which also includes a cameo from fellow NYC rapper Gorilla Nems and, of course, YP’s crew.

Much of his found success comes from his contributions as the engineer/producer for some of the biggest names in New York’s drill scene today. That includes 41 (Jenn Carter, Kyle Richh, TaTa), Miah Kenzo, Shemmy, and Blockwork.

Although YP continues his work behind the boards, his main focus is his solo career as an artist. And with releases such as “MOVIE,” and “Ayo Chxno” from February, it won’t be long until YP joins his peers as the City’s elite.
