Multiplatinum musician Yung Bleu announced the release of the brand-new music video for his single “Walk Through The Fire (feat NE-YO),” which you can watch HERE.
In the video directed by Blank Square Productions, NE-YO serves as a detective investigating a house fire while the visual eventually shifts to the activities that transpired the previous evening. The visual depicts a brave Bleu bravely rushing into a house ablaze and saving his love interest from the burning flames.
Bleu originally released “Walk Through The Fire (feat NE-YO)” in late January via Vandross Music Group, Inc./EMPIRE and it served as the Alabama native’s second collaborative effort with NE-YO. The duo had previously teamed up in December 2021 to unveil the single and music video for “Stay Down”, which sent a powerful message about loyalty in relationships.
His original collaboration with NE-YO on “Stay Down” also coincided with the release of his five-song, EP, “No I’m Not OK.” He released the project – which included an appearance from Grammy-award-winning R&B singer Monica – in Dec. 2021 as a gift to his fans and to express his gratitude for helping propel his breakout year.
Bleu capped 2021 by winning “Best New Hip-Hop Artist” and “Best New Artist” at the BET Hip-Hop Awards and BET Soul Train Awards, respectively, in Oct. 2021 and Nov. 2021 and became the first artist since Chance The Rapper to achieve the feat in the same calendar year.
The song comes after Bleu’s smash song “Beautiful Lies (feat Kehlani)” reached No. 1 on Rhythmic Radio. The standout song appeared on Bleu’s debut studio album, Moon Boy, and featured a star-studded array of A-List collaborators, including Drake, John Legend, Big Sean, Kehlani, H.E.R, Chris Brown, and more.
