Harlem-native singer/songwriter/rapper, Melii is back with her forthright fiery single “BDE ft. Smoove’L” via Rule#1/Geffen Records.
On the aggressive and no-holds-bard track Melii doesn’t play any games, together she and Smoove’L continue to show off their versatility. She raps bluntly about her rarity as a woman doing it like no one else can – she questions “Who flow like this? Who lit? Who glow like this?” to which Melii says “I’m bringing back the Dominican mamí essence, having fun with my music again…” Fellow New York rapper, Smoove’L backs up her declaration, together they radiate “BDE” on the undeniably hard-hitting anthem.
Late last year the rising artist shared her highly anticipated EP MOTIONS. On the seven-track EP Melli showcases her unapologetic yet vulnerable songwriting that’s made her one of 2019’s most exciting breakout stars.
