What drove you to envision a music career?
Honestly we started out by accident as crazy as it sounds. We started out trying to make a song to perform at a friend’s birthday, we just ended up sticking with it.
What inspired you to write the “Bob Saget” track?
Most of our songs are freestyles, so we usually take the funniest line and create the song title and theme from that.
Out of all your releases, which one has a particular significance for you and why?
I think mean music would be the best answer for this one. It showcases the best qualities of our music to us personally.
How different was your creative process for your new album Mean Music, compared to earlier projects? How did your sound evolve along the years?
The creative process was no different, we just are just getting better with time.
If you could collaborate with any artist of your choice, who would it be and why (please list your top 3)?
Probably Drake because that’s just one of those stamps that you want as a hip-hop artist. Top 3 would have to be Drake, Nicki Minaj, & Kendrick Lamar.
What’s the first thing you notice when listening to a new song?
The mood of the song is what we listen for first. Got to make sure the song matches whatever mood we’re in.
