The stars are aligning for an Easter in quarantine.
As millions remain at home due to the pandemic, famed pastor Joel Osteen is celebrating the holiday by hosting a virtual Sunday Service from his Lakewood Church in Houston with some A-list guests including Mariah Carey and Kanye West.
According to TMZ, the superstars will perform remotely for his congregation. Mariah will pay tribute to medical professionals and first responders who are risking their lives in the fight against COVID-19 with a performance of her uplifting anthem “Hero.”

Kanye and his Sunday Service crew will entertain the masses with a performance from L.A., which will be streamed over Osteen’s megachurch feed. The rapper previously joined Osteen at his Sunday Service in Houston in November. He and Osteen were planning to host a Sunday Service at New York’s Yankee Stadium, but the gathering has been put on hold for the time being.
Tyler Perry will also take part in Sunday’s festivities, delivering messages of love and support to Osteen’s massive audience of over 10 million.
The online Easter celebration will commence Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. It’s unclear if the performances will be live or pre-recorded.
