Kristen Stewart may have seen vampires and werewolves in the Twilight series, but she claims to have seen ghosts in real life.
People managed to get an early look into the latest episode of the Roz Hernandez-hosted podcast Ghosted and found out that the 33-year-old actress said she was visited by a ghost when she was filming the 2007 movie The Messengers in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Stewart was 15 at the time and said she was staying at a “very old” hotel with her mother when the ghost reportedly visited her.
The actress said she first noticed something was off when she noticed a water bottle fell over. She would have normally thought the cat that had been staying with her was behind it all but then found out the cat was sleeping the entire time at her feet.
“And then all of a sudden I felt like my legs had been kind of pushed down. ‘Cause they were up — like, my knees were up,” Stewart said on the podcast.
She then said she sat up, opened her eyes, and spotted a lady floating above her.
“So it made me open my eyes, and when I opened my eyes, it was a lady in colonial garb,” Stewart said. “There was a lady in old-school clothes, with darkened features and rollers in her hair, and sort of looming over my bed, as high as the top of the drapery. I couldn’t make a sound for a very long time.”
Stewart is adamant she did indeed spot a ghost, but her close ones never believed her.
Living for the Dead, an upcoming show that Stewart created alongside C.J. Romero, debuted last week and is available to stream on Disney Plus.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that a Twilight series was in the works at Lionsgate, but it’s unclear if Stewart will be a part of it in any way.
